I can't say that I am completely happy about how any of these turned out, but I am not UNhappy about them. I grew a lot this semester since I have never taken a drawing class and have never spent an extensive amount of time drawing. Any time I have drawn in the past it was usually for a completed piece and not for practice
I have many scratch still life drawings, but these were the only two "completed" for grading that I did.
With the following perspective drawings we were not allowed to use a ruler at all, making it quite difficult. Needless to say I learned a lot from this semester of art.
The one-point perspective is the hallway outside of my classroom. I think the way I had the picture hanging when I took the photograph made the lines curve more than they actually do. The two point perspective indoors is in the theatre portion of the art building and the two-point outdoors is of the outside of the art portion of the building.
Today I went to Barnes and Noble to buy a new planner (which magically was 50% off, so major score) and I kinda looked around but I need to get home so me and my brother could go somewhere. I picked up Sketch Book for the Artist by Sarah Simblet and it looked like I good learning tool. I need to look into more before I make any more judgments on it
Here are a few parting pictures from this past semester:
I want to start working on my photography skills so I can take better pictures of my art and craft projects. The lighting in my room is pretty terrible and I am not very good at figuring out the whole lighting situation.
(This blog was a total pill when I was formating it. I had the entire things set up how I wanted it and then it got all messy.)
