Focusing on the happy

1. I enjoy staying up late when no one is awake and the house is really quiet. I feel like I can actually think.
2. I enjoy having long conversations with my mom. They pretty much happen daily, and at least 3 times a day.
3. I enjoy watching tv on dvd with my mom. I am especially enjoying watching The Waltons with her.
4. I enjoy looking up crafts on the internet. Everything I see that I have never seen before makes me want to learn how to make it.
5. I really really really enjoy taking naps. I swear I sleep better during naps than I do when I sleep at night.
6. I enjoy the homemade reeses I make. I think I enjoy them better than actual reeses.
7. I enjoy crocheting the afghan for Blankets and Blessings. It is no where near finished and taking a long time, but I can't wait for someone to receive the afghan.
8. I enjoy singing to music when I drive in the car (alone lol)
9. I enjoy having bagels for breakfast every morning.
10. I enjoy learning how to bake and cook. I used to be more on the baking end, but thanks to watching Working Class Foodies I have a new appreciation for making the food I eat. That and The Waltons have inspired me to be more self sufficient.

I am a very lucky human being with a very loving family and the best friend I could ask for. I get to go to a church where people are happy to see me and I am getting to go to school on an art scholarship. I have made all A's and one B so far in college, and for that I am very thankful. I have read Jane Austen's six major works and I am only 19. I have a long life ahead of me and I am reaching my goals consistently. I am talented, smart, beautiful, and need to let myself know these things way more often.

I am not full of myself, trust me, I never tell myself any of these things. I am allowing myself to write down what some people tell me and also allowing myself to believe it.
